ello, my name is Sue Salamon, and here is a little bit about myself:

     In 1967, when I first found Scientology I was living in New York City. I had tried different jobs and couldn’t really decide just what it was I really wanted to do. I’d had some problems and difficulties that I’d tried to solve by seeing a psychologist but found that this wasn’t really helping. I’d also tried a few other philosophies but didn’t find what I was looking for. I’d also tried some drugs and that didn’t work either. I knew I wasn’t happy and that I needed a change and was actually at a point in my life where I was demanding some improvement, but just couldn’t seem to find what it was that I needed. A friend told me about Scientology and after some delay, I finally decided to go in and attend a 3 night series of lectures at the New York Scientology Organization. By the end of the talk on the first night I was pretty sure that there was something to this. I then went to two more lectures on the following two evenings and by the time these were finished, I knew without a doubt that I’d found what I’d been looking for. I also found quite a few people there that I immediately liked and responded to and have remained friends with to this day.

     Through the Scientology philosophy, training and counseling that I have received, I’m able to communicate better, and confront and deal with life’s experiences more easily. Many problems have dissipated, and many difficulties have disappeared. I am extremely persistent on handling situations and making things go right. Some goals that I never even thought could be attainable, I have actually achieved. I continue to grow and expand as a spiritual being.

     I joined staff almost immediately and started training as a Scientology counselor and have continued doing this work in various Scientology organizations over the years. I am now doing counseling privately in a field counseling group in Glendale, California. We deliver introductory and advanced counseling to individuals as well as married couples. I also have many friends and acquaintances that I have accumulated over the years that I listen to and help with their problems and work with on getting their lives to go better.

     In 1971, I married my husband Russell, and we have remained married ever since. In 1973 my son David was born, and in 1975- my daughter Stephanie. Both of my children are very able and capable individuals with abilities in many different areas. Russell writes and has published some really beautiful poetry and we know that he will be very famous one day as a Master Poet. (Meanwhile, he keeps his day job!).

     Scientology has provided me with the tools to help myself and thus help others.
