ello, my name is Richard Berman, and here is a little bit about myself:
I am a computer technologist and consultant, and have worked in the areas of artificial intelligence, operating systems, games and application development.
Also, I'm a musician and recording engineer, playing several instruments. The band I'm in, called "Evolution," writes, plays and records original music in the "Adult Alternative" category.
And to all that, I also write Science Fiction, and have been a contest finalist in an international competition.
I've been married since 1987 to a lovely French girl named Silvy, who has been a Scientologist since the early 1980's. She is a fantastic singer and actress, and is currently studying dance. We live in our own house with our cat and a LOT of computers.
Over 20 years ago, I was in college, studying computer science. Myself and a friend were great students of the "human mind" (we thought). My friend read the book Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, and then insisted I read it, as the best explanation he'd seen for the way the mind works.
I did read it, and immediately saw how the information and techniques described in the book could help me. I contacted a local mission of the Church of Scientology, and started my first course, and since have far exceeded every expection I had.
