ello, my name is Patty O'Neill Schwartz, and here is a little bit about myself:
I first became familiar with L. Ron Hubbard's works when I enrolled in the Narconon Drug Rehabilitation program in 1973. I was working with juvenile delinquents and I decided I wanted to get more information about drugs to help them. So, I visited the program thinking I would get information to help others. Instead, after talking with one of the counselors, I realized that I needed help. I had been using drugs and drinking for years and I really did hate it but didn't feel that I could stop. After doing the Narconon program I became drug-free and felt there was a lot more to learn and I became a member of the Church of Scientology. I have continued to work with Narconon over the years and have seen miracles produced with thousands of adults and kids around the world. I'm currently working on distributing Narconon's drug education video called The Truth About Drugs, What Is It? to schools so that kids can get the truth about drugs and not get into the situations that I, along with many others, got into.
I am married to a wonderful man, Mark Schwartz, who works in an organization called the Hubbard College of Administration, International here in Los Angeles. He is in charge of delivering the curriculum which teaches businessmen administrative skills, developed by L. Ron Hubbard, to expand and improve their businesses.
My Mom, 4 sisters and 2 brothers and their families are back in Connecticut and I miss seeing them a lot. I'm very fortunate coming from a large family and we are all very close. Mark and I love traveling, being with our families and working in our respective fields. We get great joy out of helping others and seeing people do better in
life.
