There have been many wins I have had from the application of Scientology in my life and here are some of them:

     One of the first courses I did was about the Study Technology. It taught me what are the barriers to study and to learning, how one could spot that another had encountered such a barrier and how they could be handled.

     At the time I was working as a teacher and this knowledge was directly applicable to my activities.

     I had been hired to teach Greek to some executives of a European Community institution. In view of the fact that then Greece was about to become a member of the European Community, these people wanted to get familiar with the language as quickly as possible.

     I used what I have learned about the Study Technology in my teaching. Within three weeks of a couple of hours a week the whole class could read Greek text and could do simple conversation with each other. Both they and I were amazed at how effective this learning process was.

     What I really admire in the Study Technology of L.Ron Hubbard is that nobody is filling you with data you must remember. Instead this method helps you learn anything, so that you really know it and by your choice. I like to think for myself and being able to study by myself helps enormously.

     And there is an additional bonus to that:

     Our present society is changing so fast that it makes people very unsure of the future. By the time you have learned the computer program in your office, for example, a new one has been developed. Machinery upgrades, restructuring, changes, bring a big demand on people to learn the new things or else risk losing their jobs.

     By knowing and using the Study Technology I have the only guarantee and security that I can learn and do any job that the future may bring to me. It makes me feel much more secure to face the realities of today’s world.

     However, the biggest success I have and keep having in Scientology is the discovery of myself as a spiritual being.

     It is the way this is achieved that is important. Nobody told me what I should think about myself and there was no invalidation of any kind. The method is called auditing and I urge you to find out for yourselves what this is by consulting the Scientology site.

     The wins from auditing are personal. They are just yours!

     And this is the wonderful thing about the subject of Scientology. It is built upon the concept of thinking for yourself and you will continue thinking for yourself all the way to the very top of what Scientology has to offer. It can be no other way.

     Still you don’t become a hermit or some such isolated individual to keep your “you-ness” protected. You are able to be you and be with others at the same time, be a group member and still be fully you!
