At 4 years old I wanted to know the meaning of life and what it was all leading up to. I was fairly precocious and my parents didn’t take me seriously.

     I kept searching. I had many adventures in religion, philosophy, scientific studies, but also drugs, psychology and other fruitless and harmful endeavors.

     I was interested in business, and in the middle 1980s I discovered L. Ron Hubbard’s business and administrative technology. When I applied it to the business I was working in, the results were immediate and astounding with increased organizational stability and revenue. I learned you could start, establish, rehabilitate, or increase any group or business activity fairly simply using this amazing technology. I was astounded at the results, the simplicity, and that it was so totally different than anything I’d learned in college!

     I learned that this technology (12 large volumes worth) had been worked out and written by L. Ron Hubbard to assist in the smooth running and expansion of Dianetics and Scientology and had only recently been released in a non-religious form for general application to business. I learned that they were all different and specific technologies, Dianetics being the science of understanding the mind, and Scientology being the science of addressing the spirit or spiritual being.

     Business was one thing, but for the rest, I was a skeptic! After all, I’d studied religion and philosophy before, I was okay, right? Well, not quite. My marriage of about 8 years was very strained. I had been told that my eldest son, a then perfectly healthy, happy and active 6-year-old, was “hyperactive” (now called “Attention Deficit Disorder”) needed to see the school psychiatrist and be put on a drug called Ritalin. That scared me enough to take him out of that school the same day!

     I myself had fallen into periods of gloominess and depression and didn’t know why, but it was sure driving my husband nuts. I had given up on some of my goals. I looked okay on the outside, but in private I cried and was very concerned about the direction things were going and my ability to effect a more positive change and outcome in my life. So, I thought, if Mr. Hubbard had developed such a miraculous business technology, perhaps, just maybe I ought to take a look at some of the self improvement technologies he’d developed. I will forever be indebted to the wonderful people who helped me take my first steps in Scientology!

     SCIENTOLOGY SAVED MY LIFE, and changed it completely for the better. It’s true, and it still continues to do this for me! It saved my marriage, my children, my career, and my ability to handle anything and everything that comes up in life! The first course I did was a basic communication course with my husband. Boy, we had a terrific time, and this stuff was definitely not taught anywhere else I’d found in all my searching.

     Then, we did some specialized Scientology counseling developed specifically to salvage and rehabilitate marriages. Whoa, was that awesome! We were more in love than ever before, and certain about our ability to handle anything that came up in our relationship. It gave our children back two strong and happy parents.

     In the years since, I have continued to do more advanced counseling and training that has resulted in a progression of increased ability, certainty, and joy in life. In striving to assist others with Scientology the greatest difficulty is to water down the shear miracle of it enough so that others can believe the possibilities available to them in such a short time, as well as how basic and simple it is.

     If there is one statement I can make to summarize what Scientology has done for me it is to say that I’m always certain of what to do next, and my ability to do it. It may sound silly, but think about it. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to always know the next step to take no matter what the situation?

     Thanks to L. Ron Hubbard’s study technology, I can study any subject I want to know with total certainty that I will learn it. Thanks to L. Ron Hubbard’s administrative technology, I can handle any business or work related matter to a positive result. Thanks to L. Ron Hubbard’s ethics technology, I can repair the effects of any past decision or misdeed, and also set the right course for the future. Thanks to my Scientology studies, I have known exactly how to handle every situation that came up with my children, and they are both happy, healthy, productive individuals today. Thanks to the Scientology counseling and training I’ve received, I can look at, learn, and enjoy life with incredible clarity, certainty, and joy.

     Scientology has fulfilled the promises of my earlier studies and searching. It does not conflict with any prior religious or truly scientific studies, but clarifies and supplements them. L. Ron Hubbard is a true friend to all mankind, and the most compassionate being I know of to walk this earth in a very long time.
