ello, my name is Jean-Michel Guerin, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I love arts, particularly music, and science. Immediate creation and eurekas are what I thrive for and admire most. It transcends the “what”, and revitalizes the evidence of the spiritual nature of life.

     I have a Masters in Physics and have been working in industry for 21 years as an engineer and R&D manager. I’ve been married 21 years and have three children of ages 8,15 and 18. My wife plays and teaches piano. I also play piano, and coming from a family of jazz musicians, strive to improve my ability to improvise and compose tunes.

     I was always looking for answers to the mysteries of the universe and life. In a way that was one of the reasons I was so passionate about the study of Physics since very young. I got in Scientology however for very selfish reasons, to solve my lack of reach for people and failures in establishing warm friendships. As the onion got peeled along those lines, it became evident that Scientology was much broader than a “self- improvement” subject, and that in actual fact one can only go so far by only improving self, and the reality is that self really takes off when Self also takes care of Life and others.

     I had studied Philosophy, Psychology, great men of Science and their personal philosophies but did not really find something comparable to the depth of my questions. At some point in my life, for some reason I started coming across Scientologists in a totally haphazard way. I enrolled on the communication course and it has been a fascinating ride ever since.
