ello, my name is Greg Lahde, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I originally got into Scientology after seeing a commercial about Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, where a quarterback for the 49er's talked about his miraculous comeback after a career ending injury.

     I had been quite an athlete myself and had aspirations of playing college baseball but I suffered an injury that I thought shattered that dream, something I always regretted.

     So, when I saw that Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health was sold at a local bookstore, I hurried down before losing any more time and picked up a copy. I stayed up all night reading the book from cover to cover. When I had finished, I knew my life would never be the same again - and it hasn't been.

     A short time later, I went into a Scientology Church and enrolled on some courses to find out more about the subject. What I found was truly miraculous.

     After spending 7 years in college, where information is just memorized and regurgitated; I was finally invited to read and observe the data for myself and to evaluate whether it was true for me. Also, I found out this was an "applied philosophy" and saw for myself that when I applied it, I got tremendous results. In fact the data I learned allowed me to start up a business with my wife, from scratch, and has now grown to 50 employees and is in the upper 3% of business's in our industry.

     As to myself, on weekends I enjoy spending time with my family, we plan outdoor adventures each weekend which consist of hiking in the mountains, finding new trout streams, exploring new remote locations and generally enjoying each others company. I also still play some sports; recently with pick-up basketball with friends on Saturday mornings.
