My Success in Scientology

I, like so many other people in the world, was looking for some answers to life. I wanted to know who I was. Who you are. Is there really a reason we are here or was it some “cosmic mistake?” How can I be happy in life? How can I have what I want in life? What do I want out of life? And on and on. I tried everything from drugs to different religions, looking, in a half hearted and by now rather apathetic way, for “the answer.”

Then a friend of mine gave me a personality test, like the one found on this web site, to fill out. I thought maybe that would tell me something. And it did. It told me something I already knew. All was not well and I needed to do something about it. I had the good sense to listen to my friend when he told me about a course I could take to improve my ability to communicate. I did the course and found there was something there I had been looking for. The course actually answered a number of questions I had about life and how to get along with others. For instance, what are some of the reasons people get upset about things and how can you handle them before, during or after the upset? And it worked! I tried it and it worked!

That was over twenty years ago. Since that time I have continued to study Scientology I’ve always looked at it from the viewpoint of “how can I apply this” or “to what situations does this apply?” I’ve discovered the answers to a lot of questions, and asked some new questions in their place.

I’ve not given up my search. If anything, I am searching even harder. But what I’ve found is that Scientology works. It's applications do get results.

It’s not always an easy road to walk down. But life without Scientology is a lot harder. I mean the real and interesting, get-out-there-and-do-it kind of life.

Have you ever found yourself playing a game you didn’t know the rules too? With Scientology, you have the rules of the game. And one finds, that with Scientology, one can win.

In fact, Scientology is the game where everyone wins!

So what have I gotten out of Scientology? I’m happy. I make others happy. I am living life now, where I wasn’t before. I know where I’m going, what I’m doing, how to accomplish what I want in life and best of all, how to help others become happier in their lives too. These things to me are what it is all about.
