In 1971 I was a struggling musician traveling around the US just making ends meet and pretty much staying stoned most of the time. In the 27 years since then, I’ve been an active Scientologist and have attained goals and dreams I didn’t even conceive of back then. Some of these include:
- Playing bass on numerous gold and platinum albums
- Playing on TV and in concert around the world with the singer Kenny Rogers for the last twenty years.
- Authored the popular bass instruction book, "The Bottom Line"
- President of Simplicity Records
- Recently I added a new career of Computer Graphic Design Artist and Web Designer
These don’t take into account the success of my over 20 year marriage to my wife Susan and our raising of our beautiful daughter Jazmin.
How did all of these things come about?
Well, in a word... Scientology. My achievements through the years have in no small part been aided by my direct participation and application of the principles in Scientology. From the very first course I did, back in 1971 which taught me the whys and hows of communication, I was turned inside out and set firmly on the road to spiritual freedom. What is spiritual freedom?
To me it’s gaining more understanding of myself as a spiritual being and not a body or a mind. Scientology teaches this daily in its Churches around the world through courses that give you the simple truths about life.
One of the most primary tenets I have learned in Scientology is that I am responsible for me, and for the conditions of my life. This simple truth, if applied by society at large could easily change conditions on this planet in a dramatic way.
