ello, my name is Cassandra Auerbach, and here is a little bit about myself:
I found out about Scientology in 1969, when a friend loaned me the book, Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. I had been looking for a way to better conditions on this planet. I had studied politics in graduate school, but the professors taught that Man was basically evil, and that government existed to restrain him from destroying his fellows. This did not seem right to me. I had tried art, but its beneficial effects were often not great or lasting.
Dianetics provided the missing piece. To improve conditions, you had to help each individual person improve himself in his own eyes and according to his own ideas of improvement. This seemed to me to be a workable approach, so I decided to try it out.
Well, it is still working for me.
I work in many social betterment activities. I play many different traditional instruments, and specialize in Irish traditional music. I have an organic garden and am a lifetime member of the California Rare Fruit Growers. I work on local, national, and international environmental issues regarding habitat, wetlands, and pollution. I take care of my family-my husband and son-including researching alternative healing methods when we need them. I manage our finances and am licensed to sell securities. I am a trained Scientology auditor (counselor). I also have had about 15 years experience on staff at various Scientology organizations. I can answer your questions.
