I first came across Scientology in 1981, and I was very impressed with the Scientologists that I met - they were open and friendly and all seemed to have a strong purpose about their lives, which was something that I lacked at the time.

     My very first course took me through part of the book Self Analysis by L. Ron Hubbard. I have reread this book several times since, and each time I have learnt more about myself and life in general. I really like the methods set out in Self Analysis, as they are simple and you can use them on yourself, or on others. Through the use of these techniques I felt much happier, and much more myself. In fact I have used them many times on other people and it has been very gratifying when they have said how much better they feel. It is always of great satisfaction to me to be able to help other people improve their lives and abilities.

     I have to say that the second course that I took made the biggest difference to the whole of my life. This was a course on the subject of communication, and as I had been shy for many years, and had quite a bad stutter, these techniques made a big impact. People who have met me since that point find these past difficulties of mine very hard to believe. The results now speak for themselves - I have been working in the field of sales for the last fifteen years!

     That brings me to the subject of work where I use the many administrative systems developed by L. Ron Hubbard every day. His works cover all subjects relating to the business world including sales, marketing and public relations. As I work in international sales for a world music label, all this information is vital to the my success in my job and to the success of the whole company. I am proud to say that I have almost doubled the number of clients for my company, and I have to thank L. Ron Hubbard for his wisdom in the field of administration for that.

     I would also like to mention some of the various “Assists” which L. Ron Hubbard developed. These are easy to learn techniques which bring relief to many aches and pains. I use these whenever needed on family and friends in order to relieve their physical pain, and they are always much appreciated. On a personal level, some time ago I had a bad back pain - every time I moved I had this real twinge. My husband gave me what is called a “nerve assist” and after a short while my back just clicked and everything was fine - no more pain!

     There are many more instances that I could tell you about, but the best way is to read a book and find out for yourself what Scientology can do for you, your friends and family.
